Bad service

WARNING P&P Security: Our office located in Roodepoort experienced a security breach resulting in significant loss of equipment in December 2022. Despite immediate notification by the control room operator from P&P Security, we received no response from the armed response team who was supposed to go to the site.

Upon our arrival at our premises no security was present, the panic button was activated and the armed response arrived only thirteen minutes later. This was after we had to make another call to the control room to locate them.

We tried to schedule a meeting with a decision maker at P&P Security from the date of the incident, but only managed to get Jacques to meet with us on the 20th of February 2023, almost 2 months after the incident.

During this meeting he exhibited a negative and unprofessional attitude, implying that they were not responsible for negligence in failing to send a response vehicle to our premises, and that we “must just take the control room operators word” that although the call was closed she did send out a vehicle. His attitude of zero accountability for his employee’s negligence was very disappointing.

We are concerned that the security company failed to investigate the incident thoroughly and simply accepted the explanation provided by the control room operator.

We advise caution when dealing with this security company and recommend thorough investigation into their procedures for responding to security breaches if you are considering making use of their services.
