Sold me a seemingly **** item, not responding to inquiries.
Purchased an apple accessory from their website wich was being marketed with Apple's own product images, and Apple's own description. The price was half of what Apple charges, but everyting seemed in order and I assume din was a parallel import. Even their invoice read OEM as part of the description. The product is sub-standard, and I indcated such on a product review on their site. Didn't think much of it, as there was a lot of noise online about this particular product. Out of curiosity, I compared the item to it's equivalent in the local iStore last week. It is just obvious that the item I was sold is a cheap knockoff. I contacted Powerbite via email which was converted into a suppoirt ticket on their side on Sat 17 July. I have been asking questions on the ticket, even providing photographs of the two items being directly compared, and have only been met with silence. Lesson learnt - an online product that seems to good to be true, is too good to be true. It is too early to accuse Powerbite of knowlingly selling me a **** product, but their failing to respond to inquiries makes me think twice. Not happy.
