Send inferior products for same price forcing you to compromise

I would not recommend buying from Powerbite. My experience has been frustrating and has proven that you get what you pay for.

Firstly, I ordered two Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G phones. This is what their website says and this is the model number that appears on their website. I did not get two 5G phones. Instead, I got the LTE versions and was spun a story about how the 5G phones aren't available in SA. Then why were they on the website when I ordered and why do they still appear there? Powerbite's support staff tell you two different stories, depending on who you speak to. When I ordered the phones, I phoned to make sure they would have 5G. The lady said they all do. Now they say none of them do. The one lady says the sent the wrong phones, the other lady says the "specs on the website are for illustration purposes only." I'm sorry, but in what world are specifications for illustration purposes? Specs are specs, and that is what I intended to purchase.

Secondly, I ordered two different colours but was asked, when they were ready for delivery if I would accept two black ones. Which I did, having waited 11 working days for the devices.

Thirdly, though the black phones were cheaper (for some reason) they first tried to make me pay the same for two black phones. I had to convince them that this was *********.

I am now sitting with two LTE phones, having paid for their 5G equivalents. I don't think this is right or fair. I have been offered accessories to make up for the mistake but I don't believe this is right or fair. At the very least I believe I should be refunded the difference in price between the two models or otherwise be allowed to return the devices I did not intend to own. This is a three-year commitment and I wanted devices that were a bit ahead of their time so that they would last.

Hi Juan, its clear that you do not care to read. Firstly the website clearly says 7-15 business days, then you demand it sooner. Then you conveniently miss the part on our website that clearly states specification may differ. You then demand a 5G phone when theres no 5G S20 Ultra in SA.

You also conveniently leave out why you were offered black, because you refused to wait the prescribed delivery period, and also leave out that you’ve already been refunded the difference of the black and grey. Thanks Juan. But this was never going to result in a good review for us.

Powerbite, please consider the tone of your responses. I did not refuse to wait. No one could tell me when the grey one would arrive. I'm quite capable of reading. "Specifications may differ" does not give you the right to decide which specification the customer gets. If that was the case, what stops you from sending customers devices with less memory or RAM.
