Powerbite are a bunch of *******!

So I have been deliberating posting a review for a while, but the wait has gone on for too long. On the 11th of August I ordered a laptop from Powerbite's website, after reading numerous great reviews. That following day I received an email confirming my order has been ordered from their supplier. Unfortunately, not more than 20 minutes later I received an email where they were informing me about Powerbite going into business rescue. Needless to say I was stressed out of my mind, I tried calling, emailing tracking who ever I could, trying to get someone to get back to me, to no avail. I was under the impression all the stores were closed down, after reading another review online, however I then I called Cape Gate mall, they informed me that they were aware of what financial trouble Powerbite was in, however the store was still open in their mall. I then immediately drove through. I was met by one of the employees that was very understanding and I could not help but feel bad for him as he would be without a job at the end of the week. Nevertheless, I started asking questions until he told me about how the owner, Duncan Matthews and his mother Kirah Matthews owns the company and have failed to answer him as well (with proof). I have found every number possibly on Duncan, his mother, his old assistant, his previous colleagues, his current other place of work (not hard to find after I just Googled his name). Long review just to say that I and plenty other have basically been *****ed over... I needed this laptop for my studies, now I am not only without a laptop, but R29 999.00. Needless to say I will and have been going through various legal routes to make sure that Duncan rue's his decision. This is a disgusting excuse of how any business should be run or any person should be. No communication and no remorse from them!
