No mask no entry

I would like to lay a complaint about one of your stores in a small town called Cofimvaba. I went into the store to buy electricity and was told that they could not sell it to me because I did not have a mask on, mind you I had covered my face using a buffer which was folded 4times.

I asked the lady what I could do since I don't have the mask( as I needed the electricity) she said I could buy the mask for R10 at the cashier's. I then proceeded to buy the mask which buy the way is not 3 layers per the regulations. I then asked the lady that they can sell me the mask but refuse to sell electricity what was the difference between the two? I then asked for the stores number and she said they did not have and she asked that I stood next to the till and she completely ignored me and continued to serve other people. I asked her if the other lady sitting down cannot help me and the lady then stood up and came to me, she happens to be the store manager she said her name was Soso.

She then asked what my problem was as she stated that she heard me talking to the cashier at the till and the cashier was not rude to me so what was the problem? I told her that my problem was being refused to buy electricity even though I had covered my face, she stated that unfortunately it is the stores rule that "no mask, no entry" I told her that the minister said you can also use eg a scarf to cover as long as you are covered she said they don't allow it because the people don't wash the scarves etc I then told her that is besides the point because what guarantee do they have that masks are washed? She could not hear me and refused to give me the stores number as I wanted to lay a complaint later on as I sad in a hurry. These people mind you they did not have someone sanitizing people at the door when you enter( sanitizers were placed by the tills) and you cannot expect someone to buy a mask and wear it right there and there without washing it first(well that's my take as I don't know which hands were packaging it).

I must point out that this is not right as the store is changing what the minister has said. I can understand being refused entry because you are not covered.

Please do something as this is an unfair treatment especially to people who stay there in the rural area who don't have the money to buy masks but have followed the rules to make sure they cover themselves.
