Bad hospitality

my boyfriend and I went to pottery house during lunch time one Saturday. we walked through the entire restaurant before someone assisted us. The waitress asks if we would like to sit inside or outside and we chose to sit outside. She does not take menus and walk with us to our table but points to around the corner and tells us to sit there - it’s by the playground. she tells us she’ll send a waitress with menus to our table. we waited for about 10 minutes and we still had no one come to assist us. I understand that it is lunch hour and they were a little full but what happened can’t be excused for. I don’t want to play the ****** card but in the moment that’s what it felt like. is it before my boyfriend and i were the only people of colour there that day? i don’t know. we got up and left. I’m very disappointed - I’ve been looking forward to eat there for so long and this is how they treat their customers. A part of me would still love to eat there but after what happened, I will not be going back.
