Potchefstroom Driving Academy Has Terrible Service!

I did my license test in Parys, I payed for 5 classes and transport for the driving school to take me to Parys, let’s me test with their car, and take me back to Potchefstroom.

The owner charged R1600 for everything. That was R220(per class) =R1100 R250 (To test in their car) R250 (To take me to Parys and back)

The day before I was suppose to do my license they informed me that the day before my test NEW students had requested for transport for their licenses in Vredefort, they would therefore not be able to take me to Parys unless I pay an additional R180 for petrol!

I decided to travel myself, and requested a refund for the original R250 I paid for transport.

The day of my license, they told me that I need to cancel my appointment to do my license because they won’t be able to bring their car from Vredefort to Parys for me to test with, as they were still in Vredefort!

I then HIRED a car to test in, drove all the way to Parys on my own expenses. On arrival, they were there in Parys with a car, without informing me of the change of plans.

I then tested with their car, thinking it was better to do my license in the car I actually practiced in. At the end of the day they have refused to refund me my transport costs, as well as the money I paid to hire a vehicle.

After speaking to the owner, she informed me that, “that’s business, plans change and they don’t do refunds”

They’ve blocked all communication with me and refuse to take responsibility for their poor business ethics!!
