American Style Fries Dissapointment

Never had a problem with Pot o Gold oven chips. Until today.. I opened there American style fries and saw there were a few chips that was black. I thought the batch had a couple of bad fries.. So I took the best looking and oven baked it. When it was done it gave off a strange smell and the chips dont taste fresh. Rather gonna throw it away
