Postnet Rylands in the Cape Flats
Postnet Rylands Village staff requires training of professional etiquette, treating customers’s fairly, listening skills, their processes &!operating procedures, conflict management, first & foremost accountability!
This incident took place the 30 August 2025.I already left a very long review of my horrible experience of PostNet Rylands Village. A female staff member should leave her unprofessional mannerisms at home when conducting any sort of transactions with customers. I entered PostNet Rylands Village as they appeared open & busy with customers.
Upon entering I am told, that they close at 13:00 but their door remain open?? Who leave their shop door open if not serving customers. I will just copy and paste the incident on this platform.
I explained the door was open &!not closed for business. She stated someone was suppose to close the door who didn’t do it. Then asking OTHER CUSTUMERS when did I arrive before or after 13:00?? The employee herself can’t even rationalise when I arrived or not, but asissting others. Then kicked out bcos she refuse to assist, yet her own fault for not closing the door & not admit accountability for this! The issue so long it’s all other platform as a review.
In comparison PostNet Kenilworth centre , my husband done many a times business services & always commended the staff conduct, professionalism not matter how busy they are. Take off my hat for Robyn, she was alone & conducted herself with grace, lovely smile, good listening skills, did not determine who is a regular customer or not, no ******** at for regular & non regular customers.
How she asked relevant questions, served the customers & recinfirmes all is in order. What a day & night experience from the exact same branded company branch & another
It doesn’t mean PostNet positioned in Rylands Village that their staff mannerisms should represent the Cape Flats, not placing their professional caps on! How can any business be conducted this way. The employees are not the owners of the business but behave this way???
Then surely comes to question how does the owners then conduct daily business??? Same attitude as their staff??
Busines is easy to be done elsewhere but a reputation of a brand stays. Well done Kenilworth, especially Robyn. Keep those ethics, customer services & professionalism wherever you go.
