Disappointment on the bay

I would have scored them 1 but the service was really good. First, we started with a dish called Trichado, unfortunately, the only resemblance to this unique dish was in its namesake - was beef trips in thick cream with no spice. We then continued our meal with a seafood platter priced at R190, this dish failed on all aspects. Starting with the soggy fish which was drenched in butter and high on sodium, moving onto the prawn.. this was uninspired and tasted like it was boiled in water with no seasoning. The squid heads were so salty and horrible! The mussels were rubber..In an attempt to cover up for the lack of flavor we had purchased a sauce at R15 which was just as bad as everything else in our plates. If you are looking for a restaurant with a view and good food, stay clear from this Portuguese on the Bay.
