No manners, no respect

My fianc? and I had supper at Port Captains House this evening. The food was amazing and the waitress, Lesedi, wasnt fantastic. However, both mine and my fianc?s bank cards rejectrd on their machine although I received a payment sms. When Lesedi called DD (apparently a manager for the cab company run from the restaurant). DD didn't bother to greet us and grunted in my direction when I said hello. I showed her the payment sms and then she told Lesedi to take my details. I said the if it doesn't go through then the reversal sms comms through within minutes. Then she turned and, while walking away and not bothering to look at us, DD said matter of factly that it takes DAYS to reverse and NOT minutes. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect in a restaurant. Based on the way DD treated us, we will not be returning to the port captains house any time soon!
