Outstanding and Amazing Service when buying a Pre-Owned Porsche from Porsche Centre

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars here because if I could give 10 stars I would!!! I decided to buy a pre-owned 2013 981 Boxster S from Porsche. I have had a lot of expereince with the Boxster and I love them. I had recently sold my 2004 986 Porsche Boxster S which I had for just over a year and I sold it for more than I paid for it which has never happened with any other make of car I re-sold.

I brought and paid a deposit on this car from one of the other Porsche dealerships after seeing it online and got them to deliver it to the Porsche Centre JHB where I stay. I saw the actual car for the first time when it arrived at Porsche Centre JHB on Friday for me to collect it and sign the papers.

Because I know the Boxsters very well and as I had not seen the car in person before I picked up quite a few small problems with the car that I would have picked up if I saw the actual car before buying it and would have asked them to fix them or looked at another car.

However between the Sales manager at the Porsche dealership that sold me the car and the sales people at Porsche Centre JHB they managed to get quite a few of the issues sorted out before I drove out of the dealership with my car on Friday. However when I got home there were a number of other items I wanted to be fixed.

I wrote a long email to the sales team listing these issues. Early Monday morning the sales manager at the dealership I brought the car from said he had arranged with Porsche JHB for me to take the car to them on Wednesday and they would fix all the remaining issues.

I did this today and sat waiting in their coffee shop working on my laptop while they fixed all the issues.

They went over and above what I was expecting to get done on a Pre-Owned car even putting brand new tyres on the front because even though the tyres on the front were brand new they had an old date on them so they swapped them out free of charge for brand new tyres made this year.

They also fixed all the other small items I listed while I waited and they extended the Pre-Owned maintenance plan from 6 months to 1 year for a car that is 9 years old.

I drove out of there today feeling on top of the world as the 9 year old 981 Boxster S I now own is in as immaculate condition as the previous Boxster I owned and I have such peace of mind with the 1 year Pre-Owned plan they gave me.

I would highly recommend, and I will defintely in future, when looking at buying a new or pre-owned Porsche go directly to Porsche Centre. Their service and attention to detail is amazing and dealing with them in person was an absolute joy.

I really felt welcome even though I kept complaining about all these small items on the car they treated me like I was the only customer there and fixed everything and more than what I expected.

I have to have one small item fixed on the car, which I never even knew was a problem but they picked it up, it is such a minor issue but they insist they will get the part from Germany and I look forward to going back there and seeing them again.
