Attempt to ***** money from account

Waitor saw I wanted to pay with card for meal and said they were having trouble with some card payments this evening (but failed to mention it until I asked to pay). He swiped my card and promptly showed me the slip from the machine showing a \communications failure"and then quickly walked away to \""get another machine\"". Yet I received a SMS notification from my bank confirming the transaction. I called the waiter back and asked for the slip from the card machine which <br> he tried to then take away to \""show to his manager\"" who tried to convince me that the transaction failed. This is a clear example of how card ***** happens if you are not diligent. I will not return to this restaurant and will also report he matter to my bank's ***** department. """
