Very poor treatment to prisoners

I wouldon't like to share my experience about Heidelburg prison where my husband is currently serving his sentence. The way they treating him is so bad. I am a single working woman and I don't have a driving license or a car. It is so far for me to go and see him in Heidelburg. I have to organise an uber or take taxis and spent so much money just to see him. I have no contact with him and I can't afford to go and see him everymonth as it costs me so much to go and see him. We have requested the prison authoritis to move him somewhere closer to Joburg either leewkoop or modderbee prison so I can go and visit him often but just because he is foreigner they are treating him bad. It makes me so sick that what the doing to him just because what he is. These people must catch a wake up and think about humanity. The must consider the fact that we all have families and it is his right to move somewhere closer so that he can see his wife often.
