Poor service

Asked for a quotation. When the gentleman arrived he sat in his vehicle hooting. When told that it was not good manners, there is a bell to push he responded "would you like me to look at your pool". I responded "yes, please". He reversed his vehicle and drove away. Eventually after phoning the company I received an sms with the manager and got a similar response to the email he send me after speaking to him - Please note that I the owner of the company was at your premises, and found you to be extremely rude, after the fact that we were requested to issue a free evaluation and quotation at your property for proposed repairs to your swimming pool, I hooted at the gate as I did not see any normal intercom or door chime button, I did not expect the comments coming from you regarding the “Bell Button”, it is regrettable that I will no longer be of assistance to you
