DIY for oldies.

Since my wife and I were going to be doing the pool coating (77 and 76) I approached the job with some trepidation. Daytime temperatures are high 35+ so pot life was going to be an issue. Without referring back to the Vendor I decided to put all the materials in the Refrigerator (not Freezer) for 2 days before the day. We started at 07:40 with the first undercoat working as fast as we could we finished at 08:30 and embarrassingly had to wait until 09:00 before the first coat was tacky enough for the second coat. We finished the entire job by 12:30 with only one mishap, the floor of the pool is very, very slippery and my wife managed to slip and fall on her backside. (no injuries, much hilarity) Do buy the spiked footwear that's offered, socks are not adequate. Easy to use and gives a marvelous finish, I haven't removed the high points and inclusions, I didn't see the need. You can't go wrong with this product but do try and complete the job in one day. Worth every cent.
