Pool cover not right size - and not refunding deposit - promises and more promises!

<p>I ordered a pool cover from Pool Solutions on the 9th of November and had to pay 80% of the price - R5040. The quote said 4 - 6 weeks for delivery. After numerous phone calls, I got an email on the 28th of December (7 weeks later!!), to inform me the cover has arrived and we agreed on installation on the 29th of December. The cover arrived just to find out that the measurements were taken wrongly and the cover is 2 metres to short (yes, 2 meters). I communicated with Natasha and told her this is unacceptable!! Not only have I wasted water for 7 weeks, they were sitting with my deposit (which then appeared as if the cover was only ordered 2 weeks after the deposit was paid!!!). They gave a lame apology and then a follow up email told me to pay R2000 more for the new size!!! Surely the company must take responsibility for their error. I had to immediately pay the higher amount and the 20% remaining deposit and installation fee of R690 to activiate the new order! Luckily I did not pay the amount and cancelled the order as this was the beginning of the games! More money and no service! I was promised a deposit refund! The owner Boris Zacharias not phoning back, his wife making lame promises, and then she sent email - he will pay on the 3rd of January 2017! I wanted my deposit back to order a new cover from another company. And more promises! I spoke to Boris on Friday 6 January 2017 myself - ja, he knows about is - will pay today!!! More promises as nothing has been paid up till today! Left message with Natasha again today. So this company must have cash flow problems - be careful very careful - they take your money, dont deliver and dont refund! I am handing this matter to my advocate this afternoon. Boris and team - I gave you ample time to respond/refund - but you chose the hard way!</p> <p> </p> <p>To all pool owners in the Helderberg area - be very careful - Pool Solutions is not the company to use!!!!</p>
