Pool Cons!

<p>If anyone else had a bad experience with Bruce, operating as Pool Pro's (or various other business names), please contact Jennifer ********** or Bothasig detectives ********** , where there is an ongoing case (79/11/2016). The detectives handling the case need people to come forward, as they need as much evidence as possible to support the case. </p> <p>We contracted Bruce in September 2016 to renovate our pool and entertainment area. I paid him a deposit of R35 000 and he commenced work. I then handed over various other amounts for supplies etc, which I assumed he was purchasing. Before I realised it, I had paid well in excess of R100 000 to this very convincing ******. Work started tailing off and then suddenly stopped and we were left with a hole in the ground and a building site. After constant demands, Bruce introduced us to Stephen, who he assured would be taking over all his sites. There was no further progress from Pool Pro's. A few days later Stephen contacted us independently to explain that he was trying to sort out Bruce's clients, as other people had been left in the same postion. We had to handover yet more money in the hope that Stephen would continue the work, which at first he did. He kept complaining about the bakkie he was using, which was Bruce's bakkie, and asked if I would lend him R100 000 for another bakkie - I obviously politely declined, but days later he requested R15 000 for the deposit on a bakkie, which was stupidly given, in the hope this would finally get the work completed. During many phone calls Stephen kept assuring me that the work would be done, but to this day I have never seen either of them again. To say that this had made me ill would be an understatement. Please help me stop this man from conning any other victims.</p>
