Pool Medics Welgemoed excessive fees?

I have just been charged an amount of R850 for a 8 minute 48 seconds job(I timed and watched them), a small length of PVC pipe, 2 small round PVC connections and a bit of glue by Pool Medics Welgemoed. They repaired a leaking pipe connection from my pool pump to the solar panels on the roof. In my opinion it is an excessive amount of money for such a small job. It is like going to a specialist doctor where you pay that kind of money for a 30 minute consultation. But I guess that is why they are called Pool Medics!
