From bad to worse

<p>Pool link (Ben Blignaut) started with our pool in July/August 2015 and that is when the nightmare started! From day 1 the workers were left without supervision and without sufficient tools (wheelbarrows, spades etc.) which we then had to supply. Spades tended to disappear shortly afterwards. Since completion, we have had major issues with leaks, broken and skew tiles, pump timer not working, electrical wiring above the ground, and no connection to the main house, blocked nozzles and 5 tons of rubble and dirt dumped in front of the yard. When questioned about these issues, we were told that some of the items (e.g. electrical connection and waste removal) is for our own account which was never agreed upon. From then on, the excuses started: "my mother is in hospital", "my bakkie broke down", "I am on a paving course", "I had to fire my foreman","I am out of Gauteng" etc. etc. This is now 8 MONTHS later, during which time we have seen Ben Blignaut not once! He ignores numerous phone calls and any messages. Once or twice workers were dropped off to fix the issues (photos are available and was shared with Ben) but they arrived without tools or supervision and we had to show them what needed to be done. They then fix one thing and break another. As it stands, the light and pump timer still doesnt work and the pool still leaks. Please be aware.... avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs.</p> <p> </p>
