Unpaid wages and Unprofessional administration

My experience with Pool Academy Aquatics has been incredibly disappointing. As Coach Bryan, students who know me can attest that I always strived to make lessons fun and highly engaging, especially for children with behavioral or attention issues. Despite my dedication, I was met with unprofessionalism and disrespect.

When the company was without a coach, I stepped in to help. Yet, when I highlighted my contributions and asked for the same support in return—specifically to prepare my car the day before driving to Midmar Dam to compete in the Capital K race—I was accused by the director of ‘throwing it in their face.’

To make matters worse, my wages, which were due on the 8th of December 2024, have still not been paid. This was especially disheartening during the Christmas season. My repeated attempts to resolve the matter have been ignored.

As I read other reviews of this academy, I couldn’t help but notice the director responding to every unhappy parent by either accusing them of lying or claiming she doesn’t know them. Learning to swim is a vital skill—it can save a child’s life, inspire healthy habits, and make a positive impact. My hope is that one day, if any child I taught teaches someone else, I’ve made a difference.

I might never get paid, but I felt it was important to say this and warn others. To you, Farzana, as you once told another parent, I hope God gives you experiences that humble you.
