Shoe defetc, no responsibilty from supplier

I bought a pair of Asics trailrunning shoes last in October 2021 from Poobie Naidoos. Soon it started showing tears on the top.

I contacted Poobie Naidoos but they say they contacted Asics, but because its older than 6 month Asics declined any action. I have requested the correspondence many times, yet have never received and Poobie Naidoos are not replying to any emails since then.

I believe nothing have been done and they just dont want to take any responsibility. yet were very happy to take our money on the day when we bought 4 pairs of shoes and other items. Spending +- R10 000 with them,
