Worst Valentines Dinner ever!!!!
I planned a Romantic dinner for tonight. At the gate the security took about 5 minutes just to find our reservation on his tablet. At the front desk again the lady took about 3 minutes to find our reservation. The view of the River was good and still a bit of light when we got there at 19:00. Then the services was ok but the waiter was quite pushy for us to place our food order " because the kitchen was going to be very busy". Then when it became dark and the light on the shandelier above us kept flashing on and off. All of a sudden we were sitting in darkness and had to read the menu with our torches on our phones. The waiter came to apologise for the lights being off as they were trying to fix the light that was flashing. We sat in darkness for about 15 minutes. The lights came on but the shandelier was still not working so it was quite dark but at least it was not flashing. The waiter was 100% correct, we waited and waited and waited for our food. When we finally got our food my steak was cold whilst the chips was hot and I could not enjoy it. It became quite cold next to the river but I think because there was no management, none of the staff working at the restaurant noticed it and therefore not closing some of the sliding doors to keep the guests warm. At end when we asked for the bill, you guessed it, we again had to wait. The end result, the waiter did not get any tip and I decided I will not go this far out of my way to come for dinner at this place again. I hope the management reads this and change things as there was no manager around asking clients if everything was ok. If there was a manager, he would have heard from me. I don't like to scenes and therefore did not ask for the manager. So the least I can hope for is that they get this message.
