POLMED insensitive and irresponsible

POLMED has got to be the worst medical aid ever and its *********** staff. My father has retired so I have taken overpayments of his medical aid. At first, they were suspending his medical aid because his debit order was bouncing from his account on the 1st of the month and they would ignore the fact that an eft was done already on the 25th. We had to call each and every month to ask for the suspension to be lifted and provided proof of payment. Eventually, that was sorted out. Now again today my father went to collect his chronic medication and was told the medical aid has been suspended. I called to find out why it was suspended as I had made all the payments. I was answered by a very rude Tshepo who said he couldn't assist me without consent from my father. I made a threeway conference call and he verified my father's details. We then asked why the medical aid was suspended, and he arrogantly responded by saying there was a shortfall of R68 on the instalment that I paid and the suspension would only be lifted once that R68 has been paid. I then asked how where we supposed to know this as I make EFT payments to POLMED there is no debit order? He responded by saying my father was supposed to know because the medical aid has always gone up in April. I find this very rude and insensitive as my father is at home and cannot get his chronic medication because of this. Why wasn't he made aware of the increase by post or sms? I will hold POLMED responsible should he suffer another stroke because of not taking his medication.
