NON PAYMENT OF PMB CONDITION(EMERGENCY)ACCOUNT

On 29/04/2018 i was admitted via the emergency dept of st georges hospital Port Elizabeth after developing a embolism/thrombosis.Due to the nature of the condition a specialist was contacted on the sunday and he started treatment as the blood clot was moving up my leg towards the vital organs.On 26/09/2018 the same situation occured and i was admitted again. The doctor who treted me both times charges private rates and not medical scheme rates.

As in both cases i was in no position to choose or first enquire as to which dr is on call or who charges medical rates or not as treatement had to commence immediatley.This condition is also a PMB case.Ever since then Polmed have sent me from pillar to post as i want to be refunded the R5588.32 i had to pay.I have called them and been to their walk in centre and handed them documents/results which they requested.This is my final request from polmed to reprocess the accounts of the Dr who treated me and to refund me what i had to pay.
