I serve in the SAPS for more then 24 Years and that`s also how long I am with Polmed. Since I have to leave the SAPS due to Ill Health, as a pensioner I have to struggle to survive, because of the scale of salary I receive. Due the fact that I have to Stop Paying my Medical Aid , and upon re entering the MedicalAid they instructed me to pay for all those months which I was not covered for. Is this suppose to be like that, because we did not use the Medical aid and could not use it for we were not covered. is this even right?
