Dont pay for bone cement for operation??

A dependant has to have a knee replacement(total). The procedure was authorised and I have to pay in for the prosthesis because of the difference in what polmed pays and what it cost. This I understand.BUT polmed tells me that they don't pay for the bone cement which must be used to attached the prosthesis to the bone. How can polmed not pay for something with out which the operation can not be done?Membership no ********** 7317 auth no ********** 9
