Disappointed. Refund us

My husband he lives in Welkom Free State, he uses POLMED marine. When he was admitted in a private hospital, North West Klerksdorp after being attacked by taxi drivers there. His skull was fractured so he had to see a neurologist. In Welkom when the nurses called to check there were no neurologists so the nearest was Johannesburg and Bloemfontein also had it. So the nurse decided to book him in Bloem because it is closer to Welkom and we have relatives there so it would be easier when he was transferred in Bloem. But when POLMED was called they said he should be taken to Johannesburg because it is cheaper for them, even when the nurse explained why my husband had to be taken to Bloem. POLMED didn't care, they only were concerned about saving money not about the patient patient on their higher plan medical aid. So we had to opt to paying for a private ambulance to take him there and we were charged R5500, so we want a refund from POLMED because ambulances like Netcare were expensive and this one was much cheaper than the one they were going to pay for Johannesburg. To top it they didn't pay the full amount for the neurologist, we had to pay from our own pockets again to pay the neurologist. We still haven't recovered from those expenses, it might seem like R5500 it is change for someone but to us it is a lot.
