Disappointed in Polmed

I did a papsmear with my medical aid which showed some abnormality. I then moved from my medical aid to my husband's medical aid(Polmed). Few months later I went to see a gyna, the gyna advised that I should do a surgery so that the abnormality don't grow. When I requested authorization from Polmed, they said I'm still on a waiting period. I then asked if there's a waiting period because I moved from my medical aid, with no break of cover. The consultant agreed that there's no waiting period and gave the the authorization. Later the authorization was cancelled. They advised that they're not covering that, due to me not disclosing the papsmear results when I joined. Therefore everything related to that won't be covered for the next year.

I'm very disappointed because Polmed did not give us any waiting period clause when I joined. This information is only revealed when I needed help.

This reminded me of when I took my daughter to the pediatrician last year , and they did not pay the consultation and she was on the medical aid for more than a year, and we had funds on the medical aid
