I app**** for Police Clearance certificate on the 22nd of December 2023 and it was available for collection on the 17th of January 2024 It literally took 15 days to obtain my Police Clearance Certificate Kudos to the service offered at Bothongo Plaza, you are doing your job with good diligence. We usually do not believe in the excellence of services offered by the government, but you have proven otherwise

There are third party people who will convince you to give them a bribe to expedite services offered by the government. These are sharks who are preying on people's ignorance and they must be seen as such. I too was sceptical and almost paid a bribe of R3000,00 to get the clearance certificate in 2 weeks. They even lie to you and tell you that if you go the normal way, it will take you up to 8 weeks to obtain your clearance certificate. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR STORY, ITS UTTER LIES!!!! GO TO PTA BOTHONGO PLAZA SAPS OFFICES FOR YOUR CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Also note that ALL Clearance certificates are released at Pretoria SAPS. So if you go to your local police station, it will definitely take longer as the documents are transited from your local police station to PTA and back. Thus the delay will be long. If it is really urgent, please go straight to Bothongo Plaza SAPS for a swift and seamless service to obtain you clearance certificate.

Be wise and do not believe people who promise you a quicker service in return for a bribe, they will **** you!!!!!!!!!!!!
