Bought a Polaroid Dashcam. Has never kept charge since I bought it. Finally got the time to send it in for repair. Unfortunately it was out of warranty. I didnt care as the battery replacement was quoted to be under R300. Paid the quote, received the dashcam without the battery problem being repaired. I had even made a note on the forms that they need to test the dashcam to make sure it holds charge. Send it in again, only to find out they cannot repair the fault as they no longer stock parts. So basically I wasted my money buying the dashcam and then a further R300 or so to repair it which wasn't done. The staff seem to be completely clueless as to what they are doing. The product is not worth the money I paid for it. Will not advise anyone to ever buy any Polaroid product, as the customer care and repairs are of poor quality.
