Polaroid SA must be the WORST company to buy products from!

Polaroid SA must be the worst company to buy products from! They offer you absolutely NO AFTER MARKET ASSISTANCE! My son, now 10, bought a Polaroid tablet, with his own money that he saved up! After less than a year it started giving problems. We took it back to where we bought it, they took it in, never logged it on their system, so obviously there is no going back on their side to find the info of the first time issue now.... We had to phone them a couple of weeks later, just to find out it still hasn't been send away... after another couple of weeks after that, we phoned again, and was told we can collect it and that the issue has been resolved, all fixed up. I asked even before they 'booked' it in why we must have a new tablet send away for repairs, just replace it, but was told that's not how they work...ok fine.... but now look at the issues!!!!!!!!

The tablet wasn't back even two months maybe, and the SAME PROBLEM STARTED AGAIN!!!! So....we went back to the mall, only to find the shop has now closed down...

After numerous emails we were told that we must get the tablet to one of their Homemark shops (none left in our area), or to JHB, and they will gladly fix it, AGAIN, free of charge (by now the 'warrantee' has expired, but the same problem still persists) ..... So, i got the tablet taken to JHB, but now it seems that's where the road ends! AGAIN i have tried phoning them, but they don't answer....after numerous attempts i finally got hold of someone, was told they are still looking at the tablet ( been 3 + weeks again), and was promised id get a phone call that next Monday....this is two weeks since, and guess what, NO PHONE CALL!, ALSO, No answer on their side when i try phoning.... NO reply to my email send!!!!!!!! SO, WHAT AM I TO DO? Its been 2 years i think since this tablet was bought, and my son has had just about no joy out of it, spend his money that he saved up for a long time on it..he could have bought a laptop rather if we knew this, and just saved a bit longer!, but thinking POLAROID is a trusted name, we decided 'hey, what can go wrong, go for the tablet' WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What are we to do now????
