Disappointing product all round ("smart" watch)
I'm really disappointed in Polaroid's "smart" watch range. I always thought Polaroid was a reputable brand but this recent purchase has disabused me of that notion. The watch is wildly inaccurate when counting steps and distances. Never mind tracking sleep patterns - last night I spent half the night awake with insomnia yet the watch indicates that I had 7 hours of restful sleep. This happens regularly. When I record HIIT on the watch, the app on my phone records it as basketball and there is no way to change this. The so-called manual is a disaster - it is poorly written and doesn't contain any actual instructions. Don't get me started on the app. I can't believe a global brand would actually release this kind of coding for public consumption. It is severely limited in functionality and one cannot update or edit the most basic things like when notifications should be on or off. Overall it's a no from me.
Their only redeeming factor is Sifiso Sokhela on the other side of their *** e-mail address who really tried his best to help me - thank you, Sifiso. Although you can't deliver good customer service if the product is sub-standard and management doesn't care to pay attention to what clients are saying.
