AVOID POINT S IN RANDBURG AT ALL COST

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!!

On Saturday 18 February 2023, I made the biggest mistake of my life by visiting this store! I needed to get my rim repaired and replace two front tires as I had hit a nasty pot hole. I spoke to a man named ELTON who gave me his word that they would have my car ready by Monday 20 February 2023 at 10 am sharp, so that I could get to work. Little did I know that this was just the beginning of a nightmare!

I trusted ELTON and agreed to leave the bent rim with them on Saturday so that they could send it to a third-party service provider for repairs. They sent me a quote on WhatsApp as their printers were not working. Looking back now, that should have been my red flag not to do any business with them!

Come Monday, I called at 8 am to confirm that everything was still on track. ELTON confirmed that everything was on track, and I showed up at 10 am sharp as agreed. To my utter shock, the bent rim had a new tire, and they had "run out of my size tires" for the other rim. They asked me to wait as one of their drivers was on the way with my other tire. I waited until 2 pm for the driver to arrive until I got impatient and offered to pay for the rim that was repaired and the one tire that was replaced. But they had the audacity to REFUSE and told me to come back at 4 pm after loadshedding, and everything would be sorted.

I arrived at 4 pm, but the store was now CLOSED, with no communication whatsoever, not even on the very same WhatsApp where they had previously sent me my quote. They had my contact details but blatantly ignored my calls! I even tried calling the store manager, whose number I found at the front window of the store, but to no avail. It was evident that they were all avoiding my calls, and this just fuelled my anger and frustration.

Now I am still driving with my spare wheel, and they are holding my other rim and tire hostage to force me to purchase the second tire, which they themselves do not know when it will arrive. I wasted an entire day with this saga over a simple replacement of ONE TIRE!

Let me make this crystal clear: this store is a NIGHTMARE, and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy! My trust was shattered, my time wasted, and my day ruined, and for what? A simple tire replacement!

I urge all consumers to stay away from this store unless they want to be met with poor service, rude staff, and utter disappointment. HEED MY WARNING, and save yourself from the misery that I have experienced!
