DELAYED INSURANCE CLAIM PAID OUT.

My mother in law's car was ****** on the 15th of April 2015. The insurance company was notified the same morning. The insurance company asked for us to fax through all the documentation. It was sent through the same afternoon at 15:00. The original documentation was dropped of 5 days later in Pretoria after a 2 hours drive from Sasolburg. The assessors came out to Sasolburg only on the 1st of May. We contacted them yesterday, 7 May 2015, and they said that they only received the documentation from the assessor the morning. We contacted them today, 8 May, again, as the car rental expires on Monday, 11 May 2015. They informed us that the documentation was sent through to the insurance company, and it will still take 3 working days to be available. Then my mother in law will still have to sign original documents before she will be paid out. My wife spoke to the owner of the company and he hung up on my wife. Very professional without any apologies. My mother in law is still sitting with her hands in her hair, without her car or compansation. If you are with this company beware. Increase your car rental time, if you like to suffer in silence.
