Podium Motorcycle Brackenfell ********s

I recently bought a Kawasaki KLR 650 from Gerhard and Lauren van der Merwe at their shop, Podium Motorcycles in Brackenfell.

I paid the full amount for the bike in cash but was charged an additional R1500 admin fee and R2500 for getting the bike in my name with a roadworthy certificate. Despite paying, I were forced to get the licence disc myself. The couple gave my partner and I the runaround when it came time to collect the licence and plate, offering only excuses for their behaviour.

Upon receiving the bike, I noticed the back brakes and temperature gauge weren’t working. Gerhard promised to fix it, but based on my previous interactions, I was skeptical. When I replaced the brakes, I also discovered the chain and sprockets needed replacement at an additional cost of R2800.

I expressed strong dissatisfaction with their business practices, warning others about the owners' dishonesty and lack of accountability. I believe that I am likely not the only person to have been ******** by them and strongly advise against supporting Podium Motorcycle in Brackenfell.
