**** recruitment agency on PNet

I just received an email from Glenco Consulting, a recruitment company that posted a job vacancy on PNet. They are a **** and we’re featured on eNCA Checkpoint a few weeks ago. They requested that I bring R250 to the interview in Parktown.

What puzzles me is that I thought all companies and recruitment agencies on your portal are scanned and checked whether they are legitimate and legal.

With the high unemployment, we rely on platforms such as PNet to make job hunting accessible and easier. But now it’s get harder because I now have to investigate a company before applying for a position. As I don’t know what these **** do with our information on each CV.

This is the email I received from them:

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Please bring along copies of your CV, ID/Passport, academic certificates (copies), with the below listed document. Without these requirements your application will be void.

2. Personal verification academic report, ITC Report and your previous employment report documents from any registered accredited firm around South Africa, PLUS a valid police clearance is an added advantage.

3. Alternatively if you do not have these documents or you have one document you will be liable to pay full amount of R250.00 only.
