Shocking experience at PnA n1 city

PnA N1 City - I bought a paper trimmer to cut sticker labels. Took it home to use and excited! Opened it, it didn't not have clear instructions on how the cutting mechanism works and we needed to test it to understand how it works on a few lables. We realized that it didn't suit our needs because the cutting mechanism was flimsy and returned it to the store the very next day for a refund. I was actually stunned/shocked by the way one of the employees attached me for wanting to return the item - in the presence of the "store manager" - that not customer service at all. She said that they always check stuff before people take it and even after explaining that nobody checked it for us and the instructions were not clear, the staff member continued to extremely disrespectful and condescending! I asked for the matter to escalated to the regional manager because the store manager wasn't being helpful and entertained the poor service. I got a call back a few day later from the store manager to say that they can't do anything and I will not get my money back regardless if I don't want the things or not - saying that they can't resell it - the cutter is still in a as new condition. There is no customer service at pna and they are not honoring the consumers right to return my item for a refund.
