PNA points lost

Imagine my shock when I tried to offer my reward card to the cashier at the PNA to be told its no longer valid. What happens to my existing points ? Oh, say the staff, its simply not valid and the points are lost. I'm told by Head Office that they posted this announcement on the website. How was I supposed to know to look at your WEBSITE before the 1 March ? Not really happy that everything is lost.
