I co-owned a property, which I wanted to sell to the co-owner, or 3rd party. I approached Molatlhegi late 2019 for assistance. 1st of all, let me point out that he did not disclose consultation fees. I was hit with a surprise bill later after the consultation was done and dusted with. I then had to pay the deposit which he asked for. Then he requested that I pay the Sheriff so papers can be served to the co-owner. He claimed that the Sheriff will not serve the co-owner pending payment. After I paid the Sheriff, I realized that the co-owner had already been served before payment was made. Molatlhegi then attended the court and a court order was made and he was quick to ask that I pay his balance so he can close the case. His friend asked that he holds back on closing the case till everything is finalized. The issue here is that Molatlhegi did not state my case in the manner that I had requested. He contradicted himself, and by so doing, he gave away the property on a silver platter. That's not all, instead of him owning up for the mess, he did not want to admit, but instead suggest that we seek an interpretation of what the court order meant. I gave him a go-ahead, but that was the last he communicated with me. He blatantly ignored my request asking that he intervened as my name was now being removed from the property without me getting my equal share. I wasted my money on this attorney.
