Plush Supreme damaged stove

I used plush supreme metal and stainless steel on my stove, followed instructions and tested on a small area and wiped with a cloth. Then I app**** on the whole stove which caused damaged - erosion on the hot plate. I'm unhappy with the product and the damage its caused, please assist
