PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN EMPLOYING THIS PLUMBER!!!</p> <p>PLUMBTECH 24/7 (www.plumbtech24-7.co.za)</p> <p>(JOHAN DAVID ENGELBRECHT AND LOWREY VAN DER WESTHUIZEN)</p> <p> </p> <p>Plumb Tech 24/7 took my money and didn’t even finish half of the plumbing job.</p> <p> </p> <p>· On or about the 25th of March 2015, I entered into a plumbing agreement with JOHAN DAVID ENGELBRECHT and his employee LOWREY VAN DER WESTHUIZEN from PLUMBTECH 24/7 for a plumbing job at my house and paid 50% deposit of the Invoice.</p> <p>· I paid an additional 40% of their Invoice as per the agreement when they started the job.</p> <p>· It is now 15 MONTHS LATER, more than 50% of the plumbing agreement HAS NOT YET BEEN COMPLETED, the project is far from over and there are a lot of PURCHASED GOODS in terms of the Invoice which is NOT ACCOUNTED FOR.</p> <p>· For the last couple of months I have been trying to communicate with Lowrey, unfortunately he never picks up his phone and refuses to return any of my calls or E-mails.</p> <p>· I have corresponded with Johan via telephone and E-mail on numerous occasions. He keeps on making empty promises that leads nowhere and when I reach him he is very disrespectful and hangs up the phone continuously.</p> <p>· ITS EVIDENT THAT THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEIR POOR SERVICE IS GIVING THE INDUSTRY A BAD NAME and I do not believe that their conduct is in accordance with standards and protocols as envisaged in the IOPSA (Institute of Plumbing S.A) and PIRB (Plumbing Industry Registration Board) Code of Conduct for plumbers.</p> <p>· The plumbing job had been STAGNANT FOR MORE OR LESS 6 MONTHS and Plumbtech 24/7 could not be fazed less.</p> <p>· Employing Plumbtech 24/7 was surely THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE.</p> <p>PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN EMPLOYING A PLUMBER AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO SOMETHING LIKE THIS.</p>
