Bad limited warranty plumbing work

I needed a plumber to fix a leaking pipe between the toilet and going through the wall to the sewer system. Johan Lombard from Plumbrite came out on 6 June 2024, and installed a new flexible hose and valve for the main water feed into the toilet water tank, as well as fixing the original problem of the leaking pipe. I called him back the next day, 7 June 2024,to come and fix the newly installed hose and valve that was leaking, as well as fixing the plastic pipe between the water tank and the toilet, that was not leaking before he worked on the toilet. I paid the contractor immediately after he left our premises the second time. Two months later, to the day, I contacted the contractor to say that the window putty he stuffed into the pipe to fix the leak, was now saturated, and the pipe was leaking again. I was not aware that supposedly professional workmanship had a very limited warranty period, as he decided not to come out, because I agreed the day immediately after the work was done that the pipe did not leak anymore, and accused me of being unreasonable for expecting him to fix the same problem two months later. I paid according to me quite a bit of money for the work that was done, and I now have to get a plumber out to fix the pipe,
