Insured but refuses to cover claim

I encounter hail damage on my car on 16.11.2015. I put in an official claim 19.11.2015 to date they have been refusing to process my claim. There has been a previous break in in my car on which they were aware off, they replaced the broken windows. Due to the break in there was also some damage which at that moment we did not claim due to husband being away for work. They now refuse to process my claim seeing that there is damage to the car. They have also send me a cancellation mail. Why pay insurance and they do not cover.
