misleading clients into agreements and then refer to contract agreement

I was misled into paying a joining fee of R1,000 based on promises that I would receive a better monthly membership package. I clearly informed the sales agent that I travel frequently and would not require a full package. I was assured that my monthly membership fee would be between R399 and R499.

However, I was subsequently debited R1,000, which is contrary to the agreement that was presented to me. As a result, I requested the immediate cancellation of this contract and a refund of all amounts paid, no refund has been processed and i have not received confirmation of cancellation.

I consider this conduct misleading and unacceptable. I would not recommend that anyone enter into this contractual agreement without ensuring that all terms, conditions, and costs are properly explained and documented beforehand.
