Dealership complaint

My father sold my car that he was using to a dealership called Playfair Motors in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng to a salesman called Gerrit.. now I have to renew my other vehicles' license disc and it came to my attention that the car was still on my name even after being sold to the dealership in February 2023. I approached the dealership and they told me they don't know anything about that car, after a few visits they admitted and asked for a receipt which I provided to them. When I asked them to remove the car off my name, they told me to s**** it. I need urgent assistance with this matter because anything that happens to that car, it's still registered under my name and that will cause problems for me.
