I was in the process of purchasing a vehicle through Platinum Wheels in Four ways, after I received a call that a warning light was not going off and that the dealership could not find the problem and this would delay delivery of the vehicle, I became a little worried and after further advice I decided to rescind my application. even after advising Platinum Wheels that I would no longer be taking the vehicle they proceeded to register the vehicle in my name and the Director/Owner Jean-Pierre van der Walt, contacted me to tell me that he would need to charge me for the valet, warranty (that never went active), adverti*****ts cost, registration cost etc. He also informed me that this would cost me R22 000 in total when I disputed this he advised that he would call me the following morning (a call that never came). After pointing out that this is not stated in the contract and I require evidence to support this he then came back with an amount of R8210 in order for me to cancel. JP still has my deposit money and has made no attempt to supply me with the proof I requested. This is not the type of dealership anyone would want to deal with as he is holding my money against my will!
