Warranty ***** from HP Store and Platinum Warranty

Should your need your laptop to be fixed and they mention the name Platinum Repairs, RUN....RUN so fast and never look back. They took my computer from HP Store in Sandton to repair. In summary, I received my computer in the worst state than I took it in.

The technicians don't know what they doing, I can be a better technician than they are. I told them that the BIOS is failing to load, they tell me that the scratch/little crack on the shell of the computer is what made the computer to stop working. In layman's terms, they telling me that the scratch on my passenger door is the reason why the engine of my car stopped working.

After failing to fix my laptop I told them to give me my laptop back. They send me an invoice of R675 which has an option for me to fetch my computer but pay for their labour of R199.50. I paid them the R199.50 and arranged my own courier. I was then told no, you need to pay the full invoice, whether you arranging your own courier or not, otherwise I will never ever see my laptop ever again, they will s**** it. They charged me R475.50 for courier when I could courier the laptop myself for R132.50, ****************.

Will I recommend them to family and friends? NEVER.....

By the way, my ticket number for the bad service received was RN***. I wish I could upload photos of how bad they messed up my laptop. The part they messed up was not where there was a crack, they found a new place to make sure that my laptop is properly messed. By the way, they did this so I can buy a new laptop.
