Platinum Warranty is just another con

so i bought a laptop which is cover by this warranty, the laptop was dead and i didn't really use it then asked my brother to look at it who is a qualified IT technician he looked at and said the board is dead but added it should be under warranty,i checked my docs and it was i sent it to them, the response i received was yes the board is dead which is covered but now the screen is cracked so they not paying out,i know it was not cracked, and now i must pay another R650. to get my broken machine back, this just sounds like a *******
