Platinum ******
These people are big ******.do not sent your laptop to them to fix.they will damage your laptop them tell you it's out of warranty so that the warranty is voided and lie to you that it came like that.they then will give you an exorbitant quote so you have no choice but to ask them to fix it.if you don't get it fix they will charge you for assessing it and the courier fees.i sent my laptop to them as Vodacom uses them as their service provider.mu laptop screen had lines on it.i sent them the picture with the lines and when they then had the laptop they called and told me it was cracked and therefore the warranty was voided.i had the proof of it not being damaged and insisted to speak to a manager the manager Dyan Ragadua then called me and defended the technician saying that he did not crack it.he gave a very clumsy oppion without facts that it could have slowly cracked by the time it got to them.when I told him that I am going to report platinum warranty to the consumer council he got very rude for a manager and told me it's my prirogitive to do whatever I like.this is my money I paid and platinum warranty has given no.proof that the crack happened on my side.on their assessment they have that there is a scratch on the bottom.i know now that companies will try anything underhanded so as not to pay a claim.platinum warranty my feel that they gained as they can keep my laptop.i know that they can't lie to God even if they managed to lie to people.
